Delivery, explained.

Care before the package arrives

A plain-language guide · Care in the US

Peptide prescription delivery. Start with the care.

You want care that can reach your door. Start with the medicine’s name and find out who would check your health.

Start with the basics

Begin with the name

What are peptides?

Peptides are small chains made from the same building blocks as proteins.

The name of the exact medicine matters more than the broad word “peptide”. Ask for that name before comparing care or delivery offers.

FDA approval means the US Food and Drug Administration has reviewed a medicine for use in treating a particular health problem.

Is it real care, and is it allowed?

An approved medicine

For type 2 diabetes, Ozempic (semaglutide) and Mounjaro (tirzepatide) are FDA-approved medicines that help control blood sugar, as of September 2026.

Wegovy (semaglutide) and Zepbound (tirzepatide) have FDA approval to help people lose weight and keep it off.

That approval belongs to a specific product and use.

An assessment is a check of your health to see whether a medicine fits your needs.

A medicine made to order

Compounding means that a pharmacist or doctor prepares medicine for the needs of an individual patient.

As of September 2026, compounding can be lawful when the rules are met, but the resulting medicine has no FDA approval.

Before patients receive a compounded medicine, the FDA does not review its quality, safety or effectiveness.

A product marked “for research”

Some sellers offer weight-loss products for people to use despite a label saying “not for human consumption” or “for research purposes”.

As of September 2026, the FDA warns of possible harm to health from these products, whose quality is unknown.

Understand the visit

Delivery comes after the care

A telehealth visit takes place by video, over the phone or using an online form, instead of in the same room.

You can ask for a health assessment at a clinic in person or through a licensed service offering telehealth. Bring the health problem you want help with, along with the medicine’s exact name.

Use the visit to discuss your health history, other medicines and choices. Ask whether any tests or an in-person exam are needed.

As of September 2026, a pharmacy needs a prescription—an order from someone licensed to prescribe—before supplying a prescription medicine.

Then ask which pharmacy fills it, how it reaches you and who answers questions after it arrives.
